We've had an Imperial Stout resting in wooden barrels, tucked away at Springwell for over 9 months, taking on the most beautiful flavours from rum, whisky and bourbon oak casks. We sourced the finest vanilla from an independent farm in the heart of Madagascar, toasting it lightly before blending the stout from these barrels into tank to condition on the vanilla. Giving this barrel aged stout all the time it needed to develop the unctuous and decadent flavours. Rich, boozy, dessert cherry flow into tones of slick dark chocolate, spiced fruit cake and lavish toasted vanilla. Finishing with a sophisticated balance of lingering cacao and bitter molasses.
