WE ARE BEER: MANCHESTER CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL 2024

Returning for its fourth edition, this past weekend we attended Manchester Craft Beer Festival at The Depot Mayfield. Over 60 breweries from 10 different countries brought over 500 beers for thirsty revellers to sample, alongside some of Manchester’s best street food, local bands & DJs.

Hosted by We Are Beer, organisers of the Bristol and London Craft Beer Festivals, the price of entry covered all the drinks sampled across the session, allowing guests to try samples of beers not normally found all in one place. Some particular favourites of ours were the Orange Soda Ice Cream Pastry Sour from Norwegian brewers, Amundsen, Elmo IPA from Vibrant Forest Brewing, and Two Hundred Fathoms barrel aged imperial stout from Irish brewers, Galway Bay.

We are very proud to have made the trip down the M62 to every edition of MCBF so far and we’re grateful to We Are Beer for inviting us back. It has been another great opportunity to bring a little bit of Leeds to celebrate all things beer with the fantastic Manchester crowd! This year we took the following to MCBF:

• Atlantis – 4.1% Session IPA (Gluten Free)
• North x ATA Records – 4.8% Hazy Pale
• North x Ziemia Obiecana – 6.4% Hazy Pale
• Futura – 5% Italian Pils
• TFG – 4.5% Triple Fruited Gose with Mango, Pineapple + Lime
• Summer Piñata – 4.5% Strawberry + Lychee Pale Ale

Once again we had an amazing time and look forward to doing it all again at London Craft Beer Festival on the 9^th & 10^th August down at Tobacco Dock!
