This is the fifth edition of the Bilingual Literature Event in Leeds which celebrates poetry, literature and music across cultures. We focus more particularly on French and English with writers reading from their latest works :
Amina Ayal, Oz Hardwick and Bob Beagrie (English) and Florent Toniello and Valerie Harkness (French).
But the Event is very convivial and we like to meet people from lots of horizons We’ll have music and songs (with Reno, who’s coming all the way from France just for us !) and our regulars:
Sara will read an Italian text of her choice, Sorina will read in Rumanian, and Noriko, in Japanese.
Finally, we’ll have an open mic towards the end of the evening so that those who like to write poetry (whatever the language) can share one of their texts with us.
